All transportation issues and routes are handled by our District Transportation Department.
The Oregon City School District follows state mandates regarding student transportation to and from school. Information as to routes and time schedules may be obtained from Transportation (503.785.8540). Students being transported are under the authority of the bus driver and failure to follow instructions will result in the revocation of bus privileges. Students must ride the bus to which they are assigned.
- Students wanting to ride buses other than their own, or wanting to get off at a different bus stop must have written permission signed by their parents and also signed by the office. This will be allowed only if there is room on the bus. A new note must be written or faxed for each day of riding on a different bus.
- Students may ride buses to their work sites if there is room on the bus. They must get off at a regular bus stop.
- Students shall not bring animals, insects, reptiles, firearms, weapons, balloons, glass objects, aerosol cans or other potentially hazardous materials on the bus.
- Only in emergency situations, with parent permission, will staff be allowed to write bus notes.
