Congratulations to our track teams for a great meet on Wednesday against Central Catholic and Centennial.  The boys won both meets, with the final race making the difference against Central Catholic.  Some top marks include sophomore Kylie Griffin clearing 5’5” in the high jump, which is currently the top mark in state at the 6A level! Britain Bratcher had a big jump as well clearing 5’ for the first time ever.  Lily Bartell set a new personal record in winning the 100 meters, and Kylie Guelsdorf and Alexis Pearson led the way in the long jump and the triple jump.  Israel Miles won the 110 meter hurdles with a new season’s best, and finished second in 300 hurdles, breaking the 40 second barrier for the first time in that event. Luke Peyton won the javelin with a throw of 187’10” – currently 2nd best in state and Lane Marshall won both the discus and shot put.  Lane’s discus throw of 161’8” is the current state leader in that event.  Great job everyone!
