Daily Announcements: Friday February 23

“Did you ever notice how there is something wrong with everyone on Pop’s side of the family?”  That is a line from Lost in Yonkers, our winter play happening Feb. 28, March 1st, 2nd and 3rd at 7:30 pm in our Black Box Theatre.  The play features a wonderful cast.  You will not be disappointed.

Oregon City Wrestling competed at the State Tournament this past weekend.  Individual placers are: Emma Baertlein – 4th in the women’s division, Sage Brown placed 6th and Lane Marshall placed 2nd.  The team placed 11th overall.  Congratulations team!

We have our winners for the library valentine’s candy guess contest.  There were 186 pieces of candy in the jar.  We have TWO student winners:  Seniors Sarah Ramsey and Anthony Kelly who both guessed 185!  They will both get to choose the book of their choice from Barnes and Noble.  Come see Stull in the library and let him know what book you would like.  The faculty winner, for the 2nd time in a row is Mr. Blix, who also guessed 185.  Mr. Blix wins all of the candy!  Thank you to everyone who participated.

If you are interested in joining the OCHS student council next year, please pick up an application outside of F128 or the counseling office.  See Mr. Lord if you have any questions.
