Winter formal ticket prices will NOT increase next week.  Winter formal tickets will stay $30 per person for the duration of sales. The last day to buy tickets will be Wednesday, January 24th.  Remember to get your blue dance contract signed and your yellow sheet checked off for fines and library books.  Dance contracts can be picked up in F128, student services or bookkeeping.  Yellow fine sheets can be picked up in the library bookkeeping.


Congrats to all who auditioned for our winter play called, “Lost in Yonkers.”  Everyone did really well.  A special congrats to the actors who were cast:  Maddy Moyes, Jaedon Lewis, Ryan Takko, Taryn McGhee, Andrew Burville, Carlyn Yoshimura and Alexis Davis!  It’s going to be a great show!


Congratulations to Kaari and Kylie Guelsdorf who were nominated for the McDonalds All American Game.  They are among an elite group of athletes from Oregon who have been nominated to play in the prestigious All Star game in March.


Are you interested in the FBI?  Consider applying for the FBI Student Academy Summer Program.  Open to all incoming juniors and seniors, this free academy can give students a greater understanding of the FBI’s role as an intelligence and criminal investigative agency.  Find out more information at the college and career center, A125.


Senior project #2 students: You have a “plan for success” assignment due today by 3:30 p.m.  All details can be found on the senior project, option #2 website.


Are you interested in advanced manufacturing, including occupations in CAD Design, CNC Programming, CNC Machining, Engineering or Robotic Welding?  There is a Maker Showcase on Friday, February 2nd at CCC from 8:30-1:30 p.m.  We have limited space available and pizza will be provided. Please see the senior project bulletin board for further details.  This opportunity is open to students in grades 10-12 and can be counted as a Career Related Learning Experience (CRLE).
