Are you interested in playing on the boys or girls tennis team this year?  Please come to the tennis meeting on Tuesday, January 30th at 3:00 in the upper commons, to learn about the upcoming season.  See you there!

Career Spotlight presentations are back! Monthly presentations about careers you might be interested in start January 31st.  Are you interested in a physical therapy career?  Sign up for the physical therapy career talk on the college board or in A125. It’s a great opportunity to talk to a physical therapist and find out what it takes to become one.

There will be an informational meeting for any freshman interested in playing baseball this spring on Wednesday, January 31st.  The meeting will be in the presentation room during both lunches.  Get there ASAP as the meeting will not last that long.

Are you thinking about, or planning on joining the track and field team this spring?  The pre-season informational meetings will be held this Wednesday, January 31st in E213.  Please join us either before school at 7:10 or right after school to get the calendar, registration information and meet Coach Mull and Coach Thygeson.  This meeting is for new and returning athletes.  We hope to see everyone there.

There was Oregon City High School history made this past weekend! Emma Baertlein was the first female wrestler from OCHS to compete at the women’s wrestling state qualifier.  Out of 24 wrestlers in her weight, she placed 4th and earned a spot at the women’s state tournament!  The state tournament is held at the Memorial Coliseum on February 16th and 17th.  Congratulations Emma!

Have a great day OC!
