If you want some good eats, come on down to Pete’s Place or the Bistro, where you can get a free snack for two weeks this month.


Are you interested in the trades?  Come to the Trades Career Fair this Friday, February 16th from 1:00 – 3:30pm at the Swan Island Trades Center.  Come meet companies who want to hire you and learn more about careers in the trades. More information is available on the college board or in room A125.


Seniors:  Are you prepared to deal with credit cards, student loans, and other debt?  Learn how to responsibly use credit by attending a special presentation during advisory next Tuesday(Yes, I said Tuesday) in the auditorium.  A credit expert will share with you how to make good financial decisions and avoid the pitfalls of debt.  Be there!


Lost in Yonkers plays on February 28th, March 1st, 2nd and 3rd at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $8 dollars and go on sale the night of the show only.  Seating is limited in our Black Box Theatre so plan to arrive early for best seats!


Softball tryouts will start in less than 2 weeks!  We have open facilities every Wednesday from 3-4:30 and from 6-8:00.  On Sunday’s, pitchers and catchers can work out from 5-6:00 and all players from 6-8:00.  All skill levels are welcome.  Come down and get ready for the season. Please remember that spring sign-ups are February 20th-22nd and that you must be cleared by the athletic office in order to practice.  Finish the mission Pioneers!


Congratulations to Quinton Foster who received the following awards at the 2018 Oregon DECA State Career Development Conference this past Tuesday.  Quinton competed in the Principles of Finance and received a 2nd place in the exam portion, 3rd place in role play activities and a 3rd overall in the Principle of Finance competition.  Quinton will represent OC DECA and Oregon DECA at the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia at the end of April. Great job to all of our OC DECA participants, who competed at the State Conference.

Seniors in Senior Project, option #1 - You have due a 9 week progress check today by 3:30 PM.  Check the Senior Project, option #1 web site for details on submitting your work.

Seniors in Senior Project, option #2 - You have due a reflection for attending a visit to a college or university at the OCHS College and Career Center.  Make sure to complete your reflection and turn your assignment into the Senior Project box in the front office or in F115.
