We had seven district champions: Rieker Daniel in the 100 and 200, Jake Harthun in 400, Israel Miles in the 110 meter hurdles,  Lane Marshall in both the shot put and discus, and our 4x400 relay team of Mark Mironichenko, Wyatt Lovell, Rieker Daniel, and Jake Harthun. Also qualifying for state was Kaari Guelsdorf in the 800, Sarah Hippler and Kiara Miles in the pole vault, the boys 4x100 relay team of Mark Mironichenko, Rieker Daniel, Israel Miles, and Jake Harthun, Jake Harthun in the 200, Luke Peyton in the javelin, Jake Follett in the long jump, and Logan Schnoor in the pole vault. The boys were 40 point underdogs going into the meet, but with an incredible come from behind victory in the 4x400 finished as co-Meet Champions!

A special congratulations goes out to Rieker Daniel who set two new school records last night. His 10.71 in the 100, and 21.73 in the 200 shattered both records. Rieker was also voted by the league’s coaches as the Mt. Hood Conference’s Male Track and Field Athlete of the Year!
