Patriots Day Remembrance Ceremony

Event Date:

Origin of Patriots Day

Patriot Day was signed into law on November 30, 2001, by President George W. Bush as an annual observance to remember those who were injured or died on September 11, 2001.  In 2009 President Barack Obama expanded the commemoration to recognize it as a National Day of Service and Remembrance.  It is not a federal holiday, but all United States flags across the country are flown at half-staff.

Please join us this year as we honor and remember the victims of 9/11 and the dedicated men nad women of law enforcement who risk their lives every day to keep us safe.
