There are a variety of ways to get the support you need in order to be successful in your classes. First, get to know your teachers and let them know when you need extra help. Each of your teachers have their own office hours where they offer support to students. Some are before school, after school, or at lunch. Second, ask a friend for help! Each of us has our own strengths and can help others out. You can also form your own study group with other students from your classes or a group of your friends. Third, talk with your Counselor. The Counselors at OCHS are able to help you with prioritizing, problem solving, and getting the assistance you need. Additionally, Counselors have a list students in National Honor Society who volunteer (for free) to help out other students in a variety of academic areas.
Remember to also check your Student Vue
account on a consistent basis to be sure you are getting all assignments in and earning a solid grade.
